The turtle blanket is our absolute favorite (mine and baby's): it's super super soft and we love to snuggle in it! This afternoon, my 8-month old (her name is Flavia) even made up a game: stand up holding on the bed rail and then letting herself fall into the blanket! She played with it for quite some time. The edge came out perfect by the way.
The minky blanket is also great (VERY soft. I'll think about a big minky blanket too in the future..). And the towels are wonderful: large enough to tuck the whole baby in (no more feet/legs left out :) and very soft as well.

"I’m sorry you feel this way. Usually when people order from me they are well aware that they are ordering a homemade product and are willing to pay a reasonable price for something made in the United States and not something made in China by a factory worker. If you didn’t understand this at the time you ordered then I’m very sorry. I’m assuming the hat fit well and kept your child warm, otherwise you would have returned it. I also doubt very seriously it was “the same one” that you found at Big E as I’ve never heard of them and certainly don’t sell to outlet stores. I recommend you continue to shop at Big E to find your bargains and stay away from Grammas making homemade items for children."
To be fair, the hat Tracy ordered was $22 plus $6.80 for shipping. It was shipped to Connecticut from Alaska 2 days after she ordered it. I never heard from Tracy until she requested her email be removed from my list which I gladly did.

I understand making these hooded towels are not very difficult if you're talented enough to do it and have the machine etc, but it is VERY clear the quality difference between your product and others I have seen. The quality of the hood is much nicer on your models than other models I have seen. Even though it is more work on your side, the bands that are sewn on the hood and the sides really do add such a nice character compared to other options I have seen online. "I received the two I Spy Bags that I ordered from you (each with a different fabric pattern) and I wanted to let you know how pleased I am with them. The quality of the fabric and workmanship, down to the last stitch are just amazing. I love the way the list of hidden objects is printed and stitched onto the back of the pouch instead of on a separate hang tag. The fabric is fleecy soft and heavenly to touch. The pouch is nicely stuffed with pellets and the clear "window" is small enough to make the game a challenge. I bought some commercially and the quality was inferior, the window was so large that all the objects were readily visible all at once and the beads were so minimal that it was hardly a challenge to find the objects! So yours are really quite superior in quality as well as quantity of material. I am really impressed. I had a question: Are all of your I Spy Bags filled with an identical list of items? I ordered one with the Noah's Ark animals with the Bible print so that one has a different mix, but if I were to order more bags with various fabric choices, would their contents be the same or would they still all contain the same list of hidden objects? Is there a variation? Thank you for your reply and for your beautiful products. All the attention to detail in choosing materials and in the careful perfect stitching and assembly and mix of items to find are so appreciated. (And yours, considering the higher quality, are a better value. Your prices are reasonable for these. Your choices of fabric are wonderful and that is an added value. "I make up the assortment of items in batches of 6 and depending on the # of bags ordered at one time, I usually make up a second batch of girl / boy / either items that would have several different items in it. They are always changing depending on the items I can get at the time. I have a lot of fun looking for suitable items that are new and different. At the time you order just let me know that you would like them as different as I can at the time. Another way to get different assortments is to order an Either bag. It has girl and boy stuff in it – not too boyish and not too girly."

"My 5-year-old son has cerebral palsy and drools quite a bit so I needed bibs that were larger-sized and more absorbent than typical baby bibs, but fashioned for a boy with boy colors. I had great difficulty finding bibs anywhere that would suit our situation. I bought bibs from one site that said they made bibs for special needs children and adults, but their small turned out to be huge reaching to my son's hips in length which to us made it so obvious and with no thoughts to his dignity. He couldn't even do therapy and classroom activities in those bibs they were so hindering. Then I saw Gramma's bibs on line while google searching and loved the heavy terry cloth bibs for babies so I sent Gayle an e-mail explaining our plight. She custom-made some test bibs and sent them to me free. I tweaked the size with her a bit and we talked about colors and trim. She then made new ones and put them on the website and I bought about 15 bibs so far and the colors go well with his clothes and the size makes them work, but not so OBVIOUS to the world that he is wearing a bib. I'm so grateful to Gayle for going to all the trouble to make the bibs work for us. I know there are tons of special needs families out there that would love these bibs. I will refer to anyone I know for sure."

"We just got the binky leash in the mail today. They seem like they are very well made and will hold up for a while. The problem that we have run into with other holders are that the clips are sometimes big and heavy (like Winnie the Pooh). They tend to not stay attached very well and are heavy on the clothing.
Your clips are nice and light and seem to attach well to my daughter's clothes. I would say that the length might be a little on the long side. Our daughter is not mobile yet (on her own), but when she is,the pacifier might drag on the ground (if attached). (Gramma's Note - The length was offered as long or short later.)

"I just wanted to send a quick note to say that I just received my first binky leashes designed by you and I think they are great! They are well made and of a strong, easy to clean material. I also particularly love the clip design because it is small and stays put without any sharp corners like the big brands make. The only thing I would change would be their length. They are a good 3-4 inches longer than the other brands I've tried. It was easy to fix by just tying a couple of knots in them. My 18 month old has a binky fetish and loves her new pretty clips!"
