I Spy Bags are about 8" x 8" polar fleece squares embroidered with a circular or square pattern & a clear vinyl window on one side. All seams are double stitched to secure contents.
Inside are 44 - 48 small "I Spy" items to find by manipulating the bag to move the plastic pellets and the items. A printed fabric label sewn onto the back lists most the items... "Can you find a...." Not all the items may be listed. NOTE: Girls' Bags will include a tiny doll which will be white unless you email me that you would like a darker colored doll.
They are NOT Machine washable and dryable due to the filling and items but can be surface cleaned. Fabric colors may vary - the back will either be the same or co-ordinate with the front and the embroidery. State boy, girl or either and I'll send an appropriate color and contents.

Kids can squish the bag and move the pellets and the items to find them all. Great for car seats, restaurants and "keep 'em busy" times. Tuck a couple away.
I can now add beads with the letters of your child's first name to the bag. The child can then find the beads in order, spelling his name. Jumbo Beads are foam blocks, Large Beads are white plastic and the Small Beads are pastel plastic. Larger = easier, Smaller = more challenging.
State first name in order info to the right. Also add after the name "Jumbo"or "Lg" or "Sm" for what kind of beads. If not noted, I will add Large Beads.

THE WIPEABLE I SPY BAG
I was asked if I could make an I Spy Bag out of a cleanable fabric for a little boy undergoing chemotherapy, due to him not able to have the fleece material and requiring easy cleaning. It was an easy solution to use the wonderful polymer material that I use on my Lap Pads, Changing Table Pads and Bibs. It is soft, strong and very flexible and the filler beads and items move easily in the bag. It is used on both sides of the bag and the list of items to find is covered with plastic and sewn securely all around the plastic. All can be wiped and cleaned (but not immersed in water) - making it great for daycare, schools, hospitals, anywhere lots of kids handle the Bags and need to be cleaned.
The seams are all double stitched securely, with the clear plastic window heavy stitched onto the front of the bag. No frills, no embroidery, no theme, but a great idea to fill a need. These bags are about 6 1/2" square. I can make the bags using blue, pink, green or white polymer material. Sorry, these are the only colors available. Some may have contrasting thread. The backs will be either the same as the front or white depending on availability. State Color and Boy, Girl or Either for type of items inside.

I am now making the Wipeable Bag with the tag on the back of the bag, covered with plastic and sewn securely around the plastic. It is still wipeable - do not submerse!
I have been asked recently to make bags with just themed items in them. I can do this, but there will be an extra charge of $20 for my time to search for the items and to make special tags listing the items. Email me to find out if it can be done and then add the extra charge on the "Ordering Info" Page.
If you have ordered one of my I Spy Bags in the past six months and for some reason, the bag has been opened and the contents are exposed (sometimes children find clever ways to access the items inside... this is why adult supervision is required) you may send the bag back to me for repair. Sorry, I can't go back further than purchase six months prior to now.

An important note for all my big and little customers. The waterproof fabric I use is manufactured in North American mills exclusively. It is certified non-toxic and meets the strictest medical and institutional standards (free of heavy metals, off gassing, skin irritants, brominated FRs and DEHP plasticizers) by Cantox Laboratories, a leader in health and safety testing.
I tested the waterproof fabric myself and the test showed No Lead. Gramma only wants the safest products for the little ones.
This bag can be done without the Ambulance Emblem on the bumper making it just a Firetruck.

"I received the two I Spy Bags that I ordered from you (each with a different fabric pattern) and I wanted to let you know how pleased I am with them. The quality of the fabric and workmanship, down to the last stitch are just amazing. I love the way the list of hidden objects is printed and stitched onto the back of the pouch instead of on a separate hang tag. The fabric is fleecy soft and heavenly to touch. The pouch is nicely stuffed with pellets and the clear "window" is small enough to make the game a challenge. I bought some commercially and the quality was inferior, the window was so large that all the objects were readily visible all at once and the beads were so minimal that it was hardly a challenge to find the objects! So yours are really quite superior in quality as well as quantity of material. I am really impressed. I had a question: Are all of your I Spy Bags filled with an identical list of items? I ordered one with the Noah's Ark animals with the Bible print so that one has a different mix, but if I were to order more bags with various fabric choices, would their contents be the same or would they still all contain the same list of hidden objects? Is there a variation? Thank you for your reply and for your beautiful products. All the attention to detail in choosing materials and in the careful perfect stitching and assembly and mix of items to find are so appreciated. "I make up the assortment of items in batches of 6 and depending on the # of bags ordered at one time, I usually make up a second batch of girl / boy / either items that would have several different items in it. They are always changing depending on the items I can get at the time. I have a lot of fun looking for suitable items that are new and different. At the time you order just let me know that you would like them as different as I can at the time. Another way to get different assortments is to order an Either bag. It has girl and boy stuff in it – not too boyish and not too girly."
There are no differences in the contents of the bag than any other regular I Spy Bag I make.
If you would like a different fabric color, please email me. The thread forming the circle in the center of the design will be as near to the fabric color as I can make it.
