Who is Gramma?

My name is Gayle Parsons and I am "Gramma". My husband and I live in Delta Junction, Alaska, 100 miles SE of Fairbanks.

We (along with our two teenagers) came to Alaska in 1993 from Maine where we both grew up. In February of 2002, we became Grandparents of a Grandson and in April 2003 we gained a Granddaughter. May, 2005, we welcomed a new Grandson. December 2005 brought us a new Granddaughter and then another new Granddaughter arrived December 2006. Our 4th Granddaughter arrived October 2008.

In 2002, I started sewing baby basics and hooded towels for the little ones and offer similar things on my website. As they grew into Toddlers, I made "toy" type items and added machine embroidery on many items. About 15 years ago I added Special Needs Bibs to my product line to fill a much needed niche in the market.

John retired at the end of 2016 after 11 years as a US Marine and 33 years as a Civil Service mechanic. He has recently retired from operating Parsons' Truck & Auto Repair & Fast Lube, LLC.
